Movie Bad Asses Region 1.

In honor of the NCAA tournament about to begin I have decided to have my own little bracket that you my faithful readers will decide the outcome. I have meticulously came up with a field of 64 with the help of friends Rick, Tony, CJ, Isaiah, and Jesy. With more help from Rick and Isaiah they have been seeded.

Every three days I will put up a new section of 16 "teams" for the world to vote on and we will move on through until there is a champion. Sadly you will have to email me your votes since blogger does not allow you to have polls inside your blog (stupid I know!)

This bracket will determine who is the biggest movie bad ass. Will it be one of the favorites like Bruce Willis? or might underdogs like Mickey Rourke find a way to get though? Who will be the Cinderella, Liam Neeson? Who knows? it is all up to you faithful readers! So let's begin the voting!

Bruce Willis over Mila Jovovich
Jovovich might be the ‘Supreme Being’, but Willis is the supreme bad-ass

Uma Thurman over Angelina Jolie
No way Jolie wins. She may be hotter, but unless silicon can stop hardened steel that Hitori Hanzo blade goes right through her

Denzel Washington over John Travolta
Vincent Vega gets offed by Denzel while giving Big Man’s wife a foot massage, he had it coming

Wesley Snipes over Hugo Weaving
Agent Smith might be the baddest thing in the Matrix, but Wesley will still shove a silver spike up his modem connection

Nicolas Cage over Brad Pitt - **upset**
Once Pitt realizes he’s a figment of Ed Norton’s imagination Cage boosts his car and the title of bad-ass

Charles Bronson over James Caan
Caan has a Death Wish and bad-ass Charlie is more than ready to fulfill it

Liam Neeson over Val Kilmer - **upset**
It took a tattoo-clad horned Sith with a double-blade to take down Neeson and Kilmer isn’t nearly that much of a bad-ass

Kurt Russel over Daniel Craig
Snake Pliskin escapes this match up easily, bring on the Big Trouble in round 2

Here are my votes
#1 Bruce Willis, #9 Angelina Jolie, #5 Denzel Washington, #4 Wesley Snipes, #11 Nick Cage, #3 Charlie Bronson, (slight upset #10 Liam Neeson), and finally #2 Kurt Russell

That last one comes with a disclaimer though, if you told me in 20 years that Daniel Craig's career eventually beats Kurt Russell's i wouldn't be surprised, but he needs a few more hardcore flicks under his belt and he's well on his way.

Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Hugo Weaving (Snipes doesn't pay taxes, if he did, he would have won), Brad Pitt, James Caan (You can't go against the family), Liam Neeson (sweet lines and he's an operative), Daniel Craig (It's James Bond for God's sake...)

I watched body of lies yesterday and I think we forgot someone on the list. DiCaprio needs to be in one of the other brackets.... here is his resume:

Gangs of new york
blood diamond
body of lies
revolutionary road

Just something to think about. Everyone should see body of lies, very good flick.

Karen, and perhaps anyone else that did not understand....

There are 64 total people. Each reagion will have 16 people and of the 16 you have to choose one or the other. Like #1 VS #16, #2 VS #15 and so on.

Arnold is in the field of 64, his region will be posted later. Basically we will keep whittling it down until we get to one winner.
