Movie Bad Ass Region 4

So, here it is the final region before moving on to the second round. Get your voting fingers ready, but first a recap from the previous region.
  • Marlon might win a street fight or gang war, but in a real war Stallone takes him down with no problems.
  • In the most lopsided victory of the tournament so far Hugh Jackman extends his claws and tears out Seagal's heart, as well as cutting off that ridiculous pony tail.
  • Close Victory, but Owen ran out of bullets and was no match for Jean Claude hand to hand.
  • Another surprising close victory for Chuck Norris. "The Beard" under whelms in his victory over Bandaras and you have to wonder what the future will hold?
  • Madsen is not match for Diesel. Vin takes care of him in a fast and furious manner.
  • The upset of the tournament so far, Sir Hannibal Lecture devours Daniel Day-Lewis....literally.
  • Ed Norton edges out Collin Farrell. When Collin is moody he sulks, when Edward gets moody he turns into the Hulk. Victory Edward.
  • Not even a well place sniper shot can take down the Governator. Arnold wins easily.
So there is the recap, now on to the final region!

#1 Robert DeNiro - How do you not vote for Deniro, Roth is bad ass and will always be one of my favorite lesser known guys, but it's freaking DeNiro!

#9 Jason Statham - Will is cool and can kick some ass, but Statham is way more bad ass, just look at Crank, I mean he's about to die, has sex in public with a hot chick and takes out all the bad guys! That's bad ass!

Upset of the tourney a #12 seed wins! - Viggo Mortensen, Have you seen eastern Promises? That tattoo is badass, have you seen history of violence? Tom could never be that dark or badass, Tom takes out the bad guys but is slick about it, Viggo just runs through anyone in his way. Plus he's freaking Aragon!

#4 - John "The Duke" Wayne, Burt might be the bandit, but John is the Duke, lest anyone forget, he may be dead, but he still kicks ass and no one should EVER forget him. I just hope kids from this age at some point take a look back and appreciate him.

Now given the mention of John Wayne I have to plug one of my favorite bands "Cross Canadian Ragweed. Here's part of a song called The President Song (circa 2000)

"If I were president, the blue-collar man won't get the shaft.
Nobody's gonna laugh when Jason Boland is my chief of staff,
If I were president.

Well, Iraqi boys you must be nuts,
You’re digging yourself deeper in a rut.
I got a way to end your problems soon.
We'll bring home every one of our boys
And pull out our biggest badest toy
And blow you crazy bastards to the moon.

Chorus:
If I were president, nobody's going to push us around.
If they threaten us or put us down we'll burn there county to the ground.
If I were president.

Well, I got one for you Sadaam Hussein
We’ll resurrect General John Wayne,
Put together a very simple plan.
We’ll put down our nukes put down our guns
And you and the duke will be one on one
And he'll kick your ass as if you were a man."

Could fucking Burt take down Sadaam from the grave I think not, Respect The Duke! Burt doesn't get a song like that, John Wayne does, one of the last REAL men.

#6 Christian Bale - The darkest Batman to date, both Rourke and Bale are hardcore, they both take out guys by just tearing them up. Bale edges out for being smarter, he didn't let his face get bashed in in the middle of his career like Rourke.

#3 Al Pacino - He gets the respect for a longer career and he was Tony Montana which spawned a generation of wanna be rappers to glorify him. His movies as of late have sucked, but he still beats Liotta despite my love for Liotta.

#7 R Lee Emery - Real life marine beats acted out mental case any day. I love Nicholson and he has kicked some ass, but show some respect for THE REAL BADASS!

#2 Samuel L Jackson - The guy falls to a 2 seed somehow because of tough competition, but this guy is THE QUINTESSENTIAL BADASS! He's what defines a badass, want to know what one is? just look at him. Seriously his name is in the dictionary under badass. Sorry Crowe no matter how many men you've killed or how pimp you were in L.A. Confidential you just can;'t compete with this.

That's my votes for this round, probably the toughest one yet.

De Niro over Roth
For Raging Bull alone, that performance sealed it bar none.

Statham over Smith
When you cover yourself in axle grease and beat a mob senseless with bike cleats you out bad-ass just about everyone

Mortensen over Cruise
He hawks Scientology, is bat-shit crazy and giggles like a girl...yeah I give it to the Ranger battling evil minions in Middle-earth.

The Duke over Burt
Watch True Grit. Do it and you will understand, you do not mess with this man. Celebrity Jeopardy will only get you so far in life.

Bale over Rourke
The Dark Knight has no powers and routinely saves the world. If that's not bad-ass i quit this tournament.

Pacino over Liotta
Scarface introduces Liotta to his little friend and easily moves on. And no that is not a sexual reference.

Nicholson over R. Lee Ermey
R. Lee Emery may train the Marines but Jack leads them issuing gag orders to kep this country safe. Any man that will kill for me is one bad-ass.

Jackson over Crowe
His wallet reads 'Bad Mother Fucker'. Boom...out'a here.

#1 DeNiro, Taxi Driver, that's all I gotta say about that...

#9 Statham obviously, sorry prince, Statham has the cars, the women, and the accent...

#12 Viggo, Tom Cruise is a douche, and he took Katie Holmes and made her a freak too, so Tom, you loose Mav...

#4 Wayne all the way... My Grandpa loved him, and I grew up enjoying his movies and such over the years...

#6 Bale, only because Dark Knight was awesome, but it was only awesome because of the Joker, the voice change to Batman pissed me off royaly, but I can live...

#3 Pacino... Please, like there's even a legitimate question here...

#7 Emery hahaha, again, no question here...

#2 Jackson, as much as I don't like him, his movies, etc, I'm still going with him, because Crowe has gone soft...
